Ocean Harmony welcomed a neighbouring mixed choir as the two joined forces to raise vital funds for a cancer charity.

Totton’s Sing For Life Choir made the short journey from its Hounsdown base to perform alongside OH at its Colbury Memorial Hall headquarters.

The choirs, along with several other acts, entertained a packed audience with all proceeds going to Wessex Cancer Trust.

The sell-out show was put together by Dudley Stone who runs the Sing for Life choir and has sung with Ocean Harmony for many years.

He said: “It is so gratifying to see so many happy faces both in the audience and on stage and to be able to raise money for such a worthy cause at the same time.”

Wessex Cancer Support has been providing free emotional and wellbeing support for anyone affected by cancer in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight for 45 years. It also has choirs at Salisbury, Cosham and Isle of Wight.
